Menopause

Hello my name is Rachael
I'm going to be 52 next Saturday I have no sisters I have two brothers and I have no idea what's going on with my body because I was never told about it how you supposed to feel with menopause.Even PMS learned in school. menopause and me have been having feel honestly crazy I just switched my gynecologist I've had a male for 22 years and I'm like okay I need a woman now that knows what I'm going through the understands what my body is going through I'm not saying then doctors are bad but for my own process of dealing with this I need a woman's outlook.

  1. I am Missie. In perimenopause. I have been suffering for almost a year, with hot flashes, severe mood swings, rage, no patience for people, cold shoulder, body aches, weight gain. I just started on the estrogen patch yesterday and progesterone at night. I slept like a baby and only woke up once and fell right back asleep! My mood is improving as well!

    1. Missie, I am so happy for you. Menopause can bring crazy mood swings, among so many symptoms. I hope every night is as restful. Kathy (Team member)

  2. I'm glad you found our online community. We are designed so we can offer mutual support for others living with the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. You aren't alone in not getting the factual information you need. And also many others prefer a woman doctor to a male doctor. You might be interested in this article by one of our health leaders who felt that she became overwhelmed without reason, due to menopause. Do you have family or friends who are offering you support at this time? All the best, Kathy (Team member)
