  2. Hi I’m Sarah and I’m 49, in perimenopause and also living with chronic health conditions and neurodivergence. I’m a solo parent and wonder if life will ever feel normal for me? Hormones seem to have thrown a spanner in the works entirely!

    1. hi thanks for your kind reply.. I do not have family or friends for support and am very much isolated from the community at large. I hope that joining this platform may provide me with some information and solidarity as a woman, not least a solo parent with disabilities. Thank you x it’s very much a me and mine situation with new perspectives on our lives lived but very little means of support

  3. Hello, im Tonya im 49 years old. I had a hysterectomy 6 weeks ago went straight to menopause after. This menopause is kicking my butt. Mentally I feel like im going crazy not myself. Im either depressed or angry. I am on the patch just waiting for some relief. This is so hard.

    1. Menopause is crazy enough, but being thrown into it suddenly and unprepared is a wild experience. Mood swings are a very common experience. You are not alone. Let us know how the patch helps. All the best, Kathy (Team member)

  4. I’m Tracy and I am 52 years old I am in post menopause. I just started on estrogen and progesterone and hope to find relief. I started this when I was 37 and by 42 I was getting testosterone pellets because I had very low testosterone. It helped a great deal and for several years I felt on top of the world then the last year I felt like I lost myself. The mood swings, sleepless nights and loss of hope hit me hard. I have finally decided it was time to find out what my body needed. I have only been on the medicine going on week 2 but I have been sleeping better and the night sweats are not as bad

    1. Thank you for sharing your experience. Going on hormone replacement therapy, changing your course of therapy, and coming off of it are big decisions, and best made thoughtfully with the advice of your doctor. I am so glad you are sleeping better, and with less night sweats, too. I'm glad your decision to start HRT is working so well for you. All the best, Kathy (Team member)

    2. Thank you for sharing your journey with testosterone and now your changes in estrogen. In my experience focus has been on estrogen, so I'm glad you were able to receive testosterone support when you needed it and shared that with us.
