Trayah Zinger

Trayah Zinger is a Canadian writer, actor, and chronic illness advocate living with relapsing- remitting multiple sclerosis since Y2K. Born with the last name Zinger, she's spent a lifetime spilling zingers - from witty remarks to the neurological “zingers” that accompany multiple sclerosis.

Trayah’s insatiable curiosity has shaped an unconventional path - from studying theatre to spending four years living in China, where she hosted a weekly television series broadcast to over 30 million viewers, before pursuing graduate studies in International and Intercultural Communication and later Traditional Chinese Medicine.

That same curiosity, paired with a lifelong love of adventure, has carried her through the Buddhist temples of Bhutan; into a freezing January in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; across the sand dunes of Timbuktu, Mali; through the streets of Zomba, Malawi; and to the heights of Lhasa, Tibet.

Through her platform, MSzingers, she transforms life’s plot twists into MSadventures filled with humour, honesty, and medical absurdity. For Trayah, humour isn’t a coping skill - it’s a mobility Aid.

She is currently at work on her first memoir, exploring what it means to build a life fueled by curiosity despite multiple sclerosis’s ongoing attempts to detonate it.
