Hi, I’m Lisa R. Triggs, The Menopause Queen.

I’m a certified menopause coach, certified neuroscience coach, motivational speaker, best selling author of The Menopause Mindshift, and host of The Menopause Mindshift Self-Love Podcast.

I am a Canadian, and I have a powerful story that was shaped by two decades of navigating menopause. Today, I support women who are ready to think differently, write their own story, and take ownership of how they move through this stage of life.

My path into this work was not planned. It was lived.

I entered perimenopause at 38, and at the time, I had no idea what was happening to my body. I experienced what I called meltdowns and continued to see changes in my body over the next 10 years, until I reached full menopause at 47.

I experienced deep depression, relentless insomnia, weight gain, vertigo, emotional disconnection, and moments where I truly did not recognize who I was anymore.

The turning point came when I realized that no doctor, and no one else, was coming to save me. I was the only one who was going to make my life better. If I wanted things to change for me, I had to change things in me.

I started to think differently about everything, including my menopause journey and my symptoms. That became a pivotal moment.

From there, I began to understand what was happening in my body and my brain. I learned how my thoughts were impacting my emotional state, how my nervous system was responding to stress, and how simple, consistent daily practices could begin to shift how I felt.

Now, I bring both lived experience and science based tools to the women I support. My work focuses on helping women understand what is happening in their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and build sustainable daily practices that support their energy, emotions, and overall well being.

Through my book The Menopause Mindshift, my speaking, and my podcast, I share real conversations, practical tools, and insights that help women feel more in control of their menopause journey by learning to manage their symptoms instead of letting their symptoms manage them.

Menopause is not just hormonal. It’s neurological. It’s emotional and it is deeply personal.

My goal is to inspire women to move out of confusion and into clarity, out of survival mode and into self leadership. I support women who are ready to define their own menopause journey and create a life that feels aligned, energized, and fully their own.
