Lasara Firefox Allen, MSW (they/them), is the author of Genderqueer Menopause (2026) and co-author of “Gender-Affirming Menopause Care: Best Practices” (Clinical Journal for Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, 2026). They are Founder and CEO of Genderqueer Futures LLC, a Certified Menopause Doula, Coach, and Educator, and originator of the Gender-Affirming Menopause Care Certification Course. Mx. Allen has presented at the UCSF Transgender Health Summit, NPWH National Conference, and Creating Change, and is a member of WPATH/USPATH, GLMA, and The Menopause Society.
